10 Things To Do In Evening In Bandra West Mumbai

10 things to do in evening near Bandra west, that you naturally gravitate towards to keep your evenings fresh, flexible, and fun.

I recently relocated from Bangalore to Mumbai. There was a shift in adjustment to the new city, its climate, and its space. Coming from Bangalore, you miss those open spaces, greenery, a clear sky, and lovely weather. But Mumbai has its own charm.

This city, as it is rightly said, never sleeps and has so much to offer you, not just in the daytime but also at night, when the nightlife is equally interesting and keeps you curious.

We stay in Khar, Bandra West. This place is happening and is always busy. It has so much to offer if you love food, like nightlife, or just want to go out shopping on the streets.

Located close to some of the most important landmarks in the city, this commercial street thrives on the energy of gastronomes, shoppers, and fun-seekers and is always packed with throngs of visitors. offering a wide range of amusements in the form of countless options for dining, shopping, and much more.

The buildings here date back to the time of British rule, which gives them a tranquil and peaceful old-worldly vibe.

Additionally, you can find the city’s landmarks, such as the Taj Mahal Hotel, Sassoon Dock, Afghan Church, and the Gateway of India, located in close proximity to Colaba Causeway.

Foodies Hangout

Leopold Café: One of the must-eat places in Mumbai is the Leopold Café. Famous for its Indian, Chinese, and Continental dishes, this café is also the most iconic restaurant in the city of Mumbai. This place has now acquired historical significance as the cafe was an early site of gunfire and grenade explosions during the 2008 Mumbai attacks by terrorists on November 26, at about 9:30 p.m.

Bademiya: This is yet another iconic eatery located behind the Taj Mahal Hotel. Established in the 1940s, this food stall is usually open until 3 a.m., serving mouth-watering kebabs and grilled chicken.

Olympia Coffee House: For a no-fuss typical Mumbai breakfast of Keema Pav and Egg Bhurji, you can head over to the Olympia Coffee House. This restaurant is a century old and is also known for its interesting Bheja fry dish.

Piccadilly: Tucked away cosily amidst the street shops in Colaba Causeway is Piccadilly. This small restaurant is a legend in the area, known for its amazing Lebanese cuisine, consisting of shawarma rolls and others, along with its friendly staff and quick service.

Cafe Mondegar: One of the most iconic places in Mumbai, with totally mumbaiya vibes. We visited this place in the evening, and it had a long line. So it’s advisable to check in at this place well in time to enjoy your evening listening to the classic English numbers of the 1990s. Standing tall since 1932, the walls are graced with top-to-bottom murals painted by renowned cartoonist and painter Mario Miranda.

While visiting Colaba Causeway, you should always keep the following things in mind:

  • Always carry cash since shops generally don’t accept cards. Also, carry change.
  • Always go for the shops that are located deeper in the market. They have a better stock of products at lesser prices.
  • Always bargain with the hawkers. Do not give in to the prices they ask at the very start.
  • Always keep a check on your belongings.
  • Enquire about the timings before visiting the market.
  • Look out for shops that sell duplicates. Always check the products twice before actually buying them.
  • It is recommended to carry your own water bottles and not drink water from vendors unless it is packaged.
