Meditation-A Challenge to be a Silent Mind
Meditation The State of Silence
Meditation is a big challenge for some. The state of a silent mind with eyes closed and no thoughts looks very difficult to achieve.
I was also challenged when I started to meditate. With just closing my eyes, all kinds of thoughts flashed through my mind, especially the negative ones.
Then I learnt some simple ways to meditate.
Accept all thoughts- positive or negative they are just part of you.
Don’t struggle too much with your mind.
Just be aware of everything that is around you.
Absorb all sounds and thoughts as part of you.
Just be in a state of awareness.
Awareness grounds us and allows us to reach a state of stillness, when there are no thoughts.
This alert state of mind brings wisdom.
When awareness and wisdom are working together, we gain confidence.
Confidence brings motivation to keep exploring more.
More and more we explore this state of awareness, we move into the uncharted regions of our minds.
More deeper we go, more balance we achieve.
With balance, we attain stability and immense peace.
This continuous effort of blissfulness is a state of Meditation.
