Just Focus on Yourself, Self-care
When you focus on yourself, you grow. When you focus on shit, shit grows.”
-Dwayne Johnson
Just focus on yourself. Get better acquainted with yourself. Make a self-care plan. Practice self-compassion. Do things you love. Avoid comparisons. Examine your values.
Focusing on yourself one hour a day is like a self-maintenance program, that will actually help you create balance in your life and set healthy boundaries with the people you love. This time with yourself really matters, it really does. You’ll be able to give more to others. You’ll act as a positive force in their lives when they need it most.
Don’t waste your time waiting for people to really care.
We all are trapped into a false sense of security and are made to believe that people truly care for us and would be willing to help us out in times of need. However, most people are not going to be around to lend you emotional support when you are going through a crisis or are let down by situations in life.
The harsh reality is humans are a curious species in every sense of the world. They are intrigued by the lives of others. They take an interest in other people’s lives just to derive pleasure from their pains. So don’t be lulled into the illusion that they are happy for your life and well-being. In reality, most people do not really care for your well-being on a deep and meaningful level.
Just Focus on Yourself
You need to focus on yourself. As you need to realize that most people keep their interactions on a fairly superficial level. Self-reliance and the ability to make yourself happy are some of the most important skills you can develop.
Aside from a few close friends and relatives, the majority of people you meet will simply not be around to lend you a listening ear when you need someone the most, or when you are in life where you feel redundant, even if they were excited when you were in the best phase of life.
Daily Self Maintenance
Learn to value your own talents and achievements because no one will ever care about your life nearly as much as you. When you are faced with a decision in life and are considering your next steps, listen to your intuition and act in accordance with your deepest desires.
Live a life truly on your own terms, enjoy your own goals, and fulfill your unique vision of what a good life looks like.
Enjoy doing things that make you happy. Include reading, writing, yoga, exercise, dancing, meditation, painting, or whatever that makes you smile.
Do things that you really want to.
