Loneliness, A Complex Emotion
Loneliness is very complex and unique to each individual. It does not depend on how many friends or relationships you have, It depends entirely on the subjective quality of your relationships.
Loneliness is an emotion that you feel when you lack the meaningful connection and intimacy or the purpose of life.
Loneliness overlaps and yet is distinct from solitude. Solitude is simply the state of being apart from others, not everyone who experiences solitude feels lonely. As a subjective emotion, loneliness can be felt even when surrounded by other people; one who feels lonely, is lonely. The causes of loneliness are varied. They include social, mental, emotional, and environmental factors.
The lonely heart can be part of big social circles, or is surrounded by people around them, but still they cant reach out to them because they feel disconnected with them.
A lonely person, needs connection which are deep, understanding and can catch up with their vibrations and frequencies. They feel empty, alone and unwanted which makes them all the more isolated in their own surroundings and set of people who are part of their ecosystem.
This deep void in their lives makes them sad, depressed and unhappy for the situations they are in. This at times makes them cold, distant and lose the connection with people who are there around them.
At times loneliness is not just lack of company, but lack of purpose. This emotions at times makes the loner vulnerable to people and situations and they can attract wrong vibrations which can deplete them and cause more deeper damage.
Loneliness is surely a weak emotion, which needs to be addressed. One need to find a right purpose or people to connect with so that they can find the right essence of their lives.
No one wants to be lonely. Learn the art of connecting with your spiritual side and get inwards than outwards to find the true meaning for your life. Practice meditation, find purpose, accept people, show gratitude and reach out to like minded groups, networks so that you can connect with them, find reason to download your emotions and derive the energy to face your limited challenges.
Inculcate the strength in you to face the challenges fearlessly. Strength doesn’t come from what you can do. It comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn’t.
Don’t push yourself to depleted energy, rather work on your strengths and find the purpose in your life which can give you a new meaning to life. At the end you would love your strength to be alone and still be happy with yourself, your life.
And when you meet a Loner, no matter what they tell you, it’s not that they love solitude. It’s just that they tried connecting and blending into the world before, but people kept on disappointing them. And then they learned the hard way that no one can make them happy. They can be happy and contend only when they choose to be happy with their lonely side of emotions and find happiness within them.
