Negatively Biased Mind Racing Against 80,000 Thoughts
According to researchers, a person has 80,000 thoughts a day. 90 percent of these thoughts are ones we have had before, and 80 percent of these are negative.
Negative thinking is a part of being human but the human brain is designed in such a way that we need to be in our conscious state to be active, happy and positive.
Mindfulness
Mindfulness is not just a choice but a constant effort to bring ourselves back 100 times from these negative thoughts to alter the vibrations into positive thoughts.
Most of the time we are living in an auto-pilot and go about our day without noticing a single thought traveling through our mind. That’s when we are busy with our lives or we are in a state of utmost happiness. But these thoughts keep passing and get stored as subconscious negative thoughts.
When we are triggered by some instance that causes pain or hurt or stress we tend to recognize these thoughts and we feel our mind is just racing and our mind is not in our control. In this conscious negative state we feel deep pain and brain fatigue which tends to make us lose focus and perspective completely. Our emotions break the barrier, we become angry, we find everything is wrong around us. This state of brain fogging leads you to many wrong actions and decisions.
Maybe thats why its been said “you should not make decisions when you are angry”
Our Brain is like our Horse.
We need to tame it, feed it properly everyday to make it work to its full potential. We can alter our negative thoughts by some intentional focus and lots of practice.
Negatively Biased Mind needs Practice of Mindfulness
Noone is born with a positive mind and all of us go through the negative mindset almost everyday. The art of practicing mindfulness everyday can change your brain, change your life.
People who conquer the Anxiety, Depression, Oppressiveness, Anger, and Impulsiveness are the ones who everyday practice this art of control.
The strategy of challenging your thoughts shifts you away from thinking emotionally, and moves you into thinking logically. This allows you to think clearly, problem-solve easier, and view your world from a more realistic point of view. The best part is your emotions will shift too. Negative thoughts occur very rapidly and often without our knowing. Take the time to notice your thoughts, and practice shifting them to improve your health and well-being.
