6 Useful Life Hacks to Reset For the Week
Our little steps can improve our lives dramatically. Here are 6 useful life hacks for the weekend to reset for the week ahead.
Weekends are the time to make some space for fun things, clear thinking, just relax with a cup of coffee, and just laze around with no strict schedules or routines to follow.
It’s time for some self-care and self-love. Pamper yourself with a lazy sit out on your balcony and do some creative urban gardening for that weekend vibe. Make your first half a lazy cozy time with yourself and your family. Eat good nourishing food and take your afternoon siesta to make yourself rejuvenated for the week ahead.
Towards evening try these 6 Useful Life Hacks to reset for the week ahead.
1. Plan Your Outfits For The Week
Plan and choose your outfits for all the meetings and events planned for the week ahead. Coordinate all your accessories and outfits to save you from a groggy, sleepy headache in the morning of worrying about putting together a professional look. Invest in a good Clothing Rack to plan your outfits for the week ahead.
2. Get the Ironing Done
After you are done on the selection of your outfits, it’s good to do the ironing and keep them ready for the week. For the comfort to enjoy ironing with your Netflix binge this Portable Ironing Board is my favorite.
3. Do the Initial Prep for your Week for Healthy Nourishing Meals
Due to hectic schedule and mismanagement of time, we tend to get hassled over our breakfast and lunch box. Its always a good idea to plan in advance your healthy meal boxes which are easy and are nourishing. Some dishes can’t be prepared too far in advance, but you can make up some items, like grilled chicken or pasta, and they’ll easily stay fresh all week and is perfect for lunches. My favorite Bento Boxes make food prep so much easier!

4. Stock up your grocery and plan your evening meals for the week
Again, weekends are the perfect time to prep ingredients and think about what you may be having for dinner that week. Create your meal calendar so that you know what all to be stocked. Do your chopping, storage, and stocking to make your life easy for the weeknights.
These storage boxes are very handy to store food fresh in refrigerator.
5. Clear your clutter
One of the last things you should do before you finally plan to relax for the last hours of the day, is to sit in peace with some nice music and a glass of wine to clear all your clutter.
Clear your unwanted mails. Make some space around for all the clutter that got accumulated over the week. Check your weekly calendar and plan in advance your relevant to-do list.
This typically includes anything from the people I need to call and catch up with, to bills that need to be paid, to blog posts I’d like to write, to things that have to do with the kids or the dog, to goals for the next seven days. Writing down what you need to get done clears your head of the madness and truly helps you to refocus for the week ahead.
